By creating a textKaren account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

textKaren provides an AI-powered family management system that coordinates tasks, chores, reminders, hygiene, bedtime, and allowance via SMS text messaging.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate account information
• You must have a valid US phone number
• One account per household

4. SMS Messaging Terms

• You consent to receive automated texts from textKaren on enrolled numbers
• You confirm consent from any family member you enroll
• For minors, you confirm you are the parent or legal guardian
• Opt out any time by texting STOP
• Message frequency varies — typically 1-10 messages per day per member
• Standard carrier rates may apply

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use textKaren to send spam or harassment, enroll numbers without consent, reverse engineer the service, or violate any laws.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

• Monthly subscription, auto-renews unless cancelled
• Prices subject to change with 30 days notice
• Refunds available within 7 days of initial purchase

7. AI and Photo Verification Disclaimer

AI verification is not perfect. Parents retain final authority. textKaren is a management tool, not a substitute for parental supervision. We are not responsible for disputes from AI assessments.

8. Vitamins and Health Reminders

textKaren can send reminders for vitamins and wellness routines for organizational purposes only. textKaren is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Parents are solely responsible for health-related decisions regarding their children.

9. Limitation of Liability

textKaren is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed amounts paid in the preceding 3 months.

10. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Data is retained for 30 days after termination then deleted.

11. Changes to Terms

We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
